Supporting H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression, the system enables efficient storage of full-HD video footage, with capacity for over 30 days of recording. Advanced Image Processing & Material Recognition
Operators benefit from a comprehensive suite of image enhancement tools, including colour or black-and-white viewing, organic and inorganic stripping, negative imaging, high/low penetration modes and absorptivity adjustment. Additional enhancements such as edge enhancement, super enhancement and suspect material highlighting assist in identifying concealed or unusual items. With 64× digital zoom, a 3× image magnifier and standard three-colour material classification optionally expandable to six colours the system delivers clear, adaptable imaging across a wide range of screening scenarios.
Dual-Generator Performance & Deep Penetration
The scanner incorporates dual oil-cooled X-ray generators, each rated at up to 160 kV / 1.0 mA, ensuring stable, continuous operation in high-throughput environments. Fine detail is captured with wire resolution down to 38 AWG as standard and up to 40 AWG typically, while steel penetration of up to 36 mm allows confident inspection of dense or layered items.
Safe, Compliant X-Ray Operation
Designed with operator and public safety in mind, the ISD-SC6040D-H4CVL maintains external radiation leakage below 1.0 μSv/h at 100 mm from the unit surface. Film safety is assured up to ASA/ISO 1600, making the system suitable for continuous use in staffed or public-facing locations while meeting regulatory safety expectations.
Flexible Conveyor & Practical Throughput Control
The conveyor system is set at a comfortable 600 mm belt height and supports selectable belt speeds of 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4 m/s, allowing operators to balance detailed inspection with high-volume throughput. With a maximum distributed load capacity of up to 165 kg, the scanner handles heavy luggage and dense parcels with ease.
