The RISK S2 Shoe Scanner Metal Detector is designed to detect concealed metallic objects hidden within footwear. It can detect both ferrous and non-ferorous metals with a high level of accuracy. Used in conjunction with walk-through metal detectors or handheld search wands, it can greatly increase throughput and prevent bottlenecks and delays. It can also be used as a standalone detection device for footwear focused threats or loss prevention.
Solid Search Pedestal
At 175 mm in height, the unit doubles as a search pedestal, raising the subject’s feet for easier inspection. This feature assists officers during handheld searches and physical checks.

Alarm settings for tone, volume, and duration can be tailored to suit the operational environment. Configuration changes are password protected to maintain consistency across deployments.
Battery Operation and Charging
